BULGING VARICOSE VEINS TREATED WITH EVLT
A 49 years old Caucasian male from Los Feliz, California, presented with massively bulging varicose veins in his left thigh extending to his leg below the knee, due to venous reflux in his Great Saphenous vein. The after pictures were taken 8 weeks after ablating the saphenous vein with the EVLT procedure. Note the dramatic spontaneous decrease in swelling of the leg and bulging of the varicose veins, as well as significant improvement in the appearance of the blue veins. Note that these surface veins were not treated directly as yet.
