THIGH VARICOSE VEINS EVLT ONLY
This is a 33 year old Latino male from Canoga Park, California, who presented with symptomatic left leg and ankle varicosities that first appeared at the age of 28. A duplex Venous Ultrasound exam revealed significant venous reflux (backflow) of the saphenous vein at the groin and thigh level, feeding these varicose branches. The after pictures show remarkable improvement in bulginess of the veins and swelling of the leg 8 weeks following Laser ablation of the Saphenous vein (EVLT) only, at the thigh level. The surface varicose veins were not treated directly.
