Sclerotherapy for Leg Spider Veins | A Patient from Encino, CA
This is a 43 years old woman of Persian origin, from Encino, California. The patient presented with extensive spider and blue vein networks on both legs. She was understandably very apprehensive, due to her needle phobia. Her previous unsuccessful sclerotherapy treatments outside had left her with long-lasting residual brown pigmentation, a common occurrence with darker skins.
Dr. Dishakjian treated this patient with four sessions of liquid sclerotherapy injections. She tolerated the procedures very well thanks to the expertise of Dr. Raffi Dishakjian, the vascular doctor at our laser and vein center. The after pictures were taken a year following her last treatment for spider veins.
